It is with great sadness that I share the loss of one of We Are Our Brothers Keepers’ most cherished volunteers. Noted actor Tony Todd passed away on November 6th, 2024.

Tony, known for his iconic roles in the classic horror film “Candyman” and the Vietnam War movie “Platoon,” donated his time and kindness to our cause. He filled and distributed backpacks to the homeless on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles, lifting the spirits of many less fortunate individuals through his generous efforts.

May he rest in peace.
